About the Role

The Position

The Digital Product Owner, Marketing Automation will focus on leading the configuration and implementation of new integrated digital marketing programs in our marketing automation platform and play a pivotal role in helping to shape our marketing technology infrastructure. They will become the champion of our marketing automation and email platform and will be the resident expert on capabilities and limitations. They will leverage that expertise to consult with the regional digital strategists, and collaborate with them to review, provide feedback on, and ultimately implement their digital marketing plans.

The role will also maintain and update platform governance standards (organization, naming conventions, taxonomy, etc.) and ensure playbooks and process documentation is up to date. The role will work with global colleagues across the US, EMEA and APAC to support the rollout of new digital capabilities, and to develop training and help materials to support education, adoption and use.

They will also provide leadership to our digital marketing operations resources and review the quality of their work to ensure that they are executing at a high level.

The role will also provide input and guidance into our overall marketing technology roadmap. In addition, the Manager will lead the integration of our various marketing technology platforms to deliver integrated digital marketing programs (CRM, workflow, webinars, events, social, search, analytics, personalization, CMS, etc.). The role will develop a detailed knowledge of our marketing data ecosystem, including cookie, tracking, personalization strategies, and be knowledgeable on data privacy issues.

Qualifications & Responsibilities

• Relevant experience - some exposure to this industry (wealth/asset management) would be considered a plus, but not required.
• Experience using Marketo or a similar B2B marketing automation platform, implementing and configuring digital marketing programs.
• Knowledge of email deliverability topics and best practices for both marketing and non-marketing emails.
• Experience with Salesforce CRM, and previous experience configuring and rolling out the integration of SaaS marketing technology platforms (for example: Marketing Automation and CRM, or Marketing Automation and Events, etc.)
• Technology literate and experience working with APIs, platform integrations and marketing data.
• Excellent communication skills and experience engaging with senior business stakeholders.
• Able to manage the work of a globally distributed team and in train and support globally distributed colleagues.
• Ability to build and test marketing campaign assets including emails, landing pages and forms within marketing automation tools.
• Working experience of marketing segmentation based on demographic and persona profiles.
• Collaborate with internal campaign management teams to identify and implement processes to increase lead opportunities and efficiencies through database management.
• Experience with other marketing technology platforms like CMS, Search, Social, Webinars, Events, Analytics.
• Critical thinking, project management and problem solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
• Naturally curious and highly proactive.
