What you'll be doing
  • Leading the development of the Pricing strategy at HL
  • Establishing and communicating the Pricing vision for the business and delivering the Pricing roadmap
  • Acting as the business owner for Product, working closely with Product Owners across the business
  • Ensuring the delivery of objectives and key results of the Product team
  • Owning client and business outcomes relating to Pricing, including adherence to regulation and standards and policies of the product, including Consumer Duty, Conduct, and Vulnerable Clients
  • Conducting ongoing competitor analysis, keeping abreast of market trends
  • Accountability for the risk and control environment for Pricing
  • Ensuring the Product team direction is understood and agreed by ExCo
  • Managing relationships with key partners and third parties
  • Bringing your industry expertise to mentor and share knowledge across the business

About you

To succeed as Head of Pricing at HL you will have:
  • Experience in leading the development and ongoing management of an organisation-wide Pricing strategy
  • Exceptional communication skills, comfortable dealing with colleagues at all levels across the business
  • A commercial mindset, in tune with cost and revenue for financial products
  • An economics background - you'll be an industry expert in Pricing, able to advise and inform the business
  • In-depth knowledge of both pricing and pricing models, both within Financial Services and other industries' regulations and competitor pricing models
  • Good understanding of client needs and expectations, with knowledge of what clients are willing to pay for products
  • Experience of working with senior stakeholders, including board members, industry bodies and regulators
  • Experience of building and delivering evidence and data backed strategies to commercial success
  • Experience of leading high performing teams in an agile environment, delivering change at pace using metric and hypothesis driven development

Interview process

The interview process will include two stages, including a presentation and psychometric assessment.

Working Schedule

This is a full time, permanent role working 37.5 hours per week. Here at HL we have a hybrid working model. Our head office is in Bristol, BS1 5HL, however applications outside of Bristol across the UK will also be considered.
