About our client
We are partnering with a multi-asset leading private markets investment firm which is looking to add a Business Analyst to its London team. With a global remit across a diversified range of asset classes, their strategy is focused on producing top-tier returns via socially responsible and sustainable investing. This role will work closely alongside both back office and the deals teams, working to enhance technologies across the firm, as well as on the integration of data between vendor products. What the job involves
  • Support a number of business-critical systems e.g. Enterprise Data Warehouse & Portfolio Management Systems and act as a liaison with the vendor when required
  • Be part of the team that builds and supports in-house solutions to support business needs
  • Work on integrating data between vendor products
  • Work with developers and project managers to plan out and deliver specific project work
  • Work on a number of strategic projects including the completion of our Strategic Data Platform
  • Deliver strong business analysis that will form the basis for business appropriate and implementable solutions to support and development requirements, engaging with vendors and stakeholders through the end-to-end process of initiation to delivery
Who we are looking for
  • Exposure to alternate investment asset classes, such as: private equity, private credit, venture capital and real assets
  • Strong analytical skills with an inquisitive mind to problem solve
  • Proven track record of working with colleagues of varying levels and business units
  • Documenting and maintaining application user/support guides and business processes
  • Ability to visualise, articulate and solve problems
  • Engage with the wider business to understand and document requirements, engage with vendors and articulate possible solutions to stakeholders and ensure issues are escalated or resolved appropriately
  • Understanding of SQL, exposure to eFront or equivalent private markets system (desirable)
