The Role: Strategic Account Associate Director

The Team: Team NER (Northern Europe Region) is a select group of Strategic Account Directors with expertise managing a complex portfolio of Customers across a number of sectors, primarily Aerospace and Defense, Energy and Nuclear industries. Providing a number of AI Solutions that are enablers to engineering and scientific efficiency and compliance our Team is passionate about the needs and growth of our Customers.
Our Team is small and dynamic with lots of opportunity for growth both personally and professionally with a culture of working hard and smart but fun to be around too. We are also great at building relationships and putting the Customer at the heart of everything we do.

The Impact: Our team is one of five across EMEA and seven globally that contributes a significant revenue and EBITDA contribution to our Engineering Solutions business unit. We are undergoing significant business transformation internally as a result of our merger with S&P and this is a very exciting time to be joining our Business Line as our capability of delivering sophisticated and mission critical tools and solutions to our customers is improving because of the investment in our processes, our people and our platform,

Responsibilities:
  • Developing and implementing client relationship management strategies.
  • Communicating with key clients to monitor client expectations and satisfaction.
  • Identifying new business leads and contacting prospective key clients to promote business line solutions.
  • Establishing efficient communication channels and liaising between key clients, including C level and internal departments.
  • Recommending and implementing improvements to the management of key client relationships.
  • Handling client queries and finding innovative solutions for complex problems.
  • Performing recordkeeping, as well as preparing sales forecasts and reports.
  • Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers' expectations.
  • Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts
  • Proactively leads a joint company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a one and three-year period.
  • Leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel.
What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a strategic account manager, or similar.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, such as Salesforce.
  • Extensive experience in B2B sales in a related industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of client relationship management strategies.
  • Superb interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Great problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
