This is a senior role and as such you will have a significant amount of responsibility and a direct impact on the success of the fund and ultimately, the economy as a whole.

An esteemed firm is seeking a to add a Senior Carbon Emissions analyst to the team. Your role will be centred around providing accurate and informative analysis of the European carbon emissions market.
This is a senior role and as such you will have a significant amount of responsibility and a direct impact on the success of the fund and ultimately, the economy as a whole.
In the role you will:
- Provide accurate and sophisticated analysis of global carbon pricing and emissions markets in European carbon markets
- Be reporting into a portfolio manager be required to adapt quickly to changes in the market and think on your feet
- Collaborate with internal economists and portfolio managers to produce unrivalled thematic reports to help augment the firms understanding of the impact of climate change on the economy
- Analyse investments across the energy, renewables and carbon trading markets
The client are looking for:
- At least 5 years in a related profession
- At least a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields: physical or atmospheric science, economics, meteorology or environmental science from a leading school
- Experience analysing investments in energy, renewables or carbon trading/pricing
- A passion for climate science and adaptation
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
