Valuations Associate - Corporate Finance (Investment Bank)

Key aspects of the role are:

Preparation, completion and review of accurate financial models and sophisticated valuation analyses to support financial sponsors, corporates and other clients
Writing valuation reports and presentations
Client interaction, preparation of deliverables and engagement on multiple projects across different geographies
Tracking the capital markets and analyzing any changes within the markets
Preparation of marketing materials for prospective new business

Required skills, qualifications etc:

Analytical aptitude and possessing a high calibre foundation understanding of financial statements and various methodologies (such as DCF, LBO, comparable company analysis, etc.)
Proficiency at financial modeling with advanced Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to write concise and perceptive written reports
Strong communication skills and experience interacting with teammates and clients
Accrued solid professional experience in valuations, corporate finance, fixed income or accounting and be able to supervise and coach analysts
Outstanding academic profile, accountancy qualification, CFA etc are advantageous but not required
