The EMEA C hief Data Office (CDO) has responsibility to deliver the UK d ata q uality p rogramme in addition to a broad remit to implement and embed improved data governance and data management practices throughout the EMEA region. The UK d ata q uality p rogramme , centered on addressing regulator feedback on Citi's approach to data, has the following objectives 1) establish a UK entity-focused book of work that delivers significant regulatory, control and commercial benefits including remediation of material data quality issues 2) strengthen Senior Manager engagement in data quality initiatives, including BCBS 239 and front-to-back working groups 3) improve engagement with the regulator 4) establi sh connection with strategically important programmes and 5) demonstrat e engagement and influence with the global Group Transformation initiative .

We are looking for an experience d P rogramme M anager / PMO with strong data governance experience to manage the UK Data programme including deliverables, issues, risk s , budget and detailed plans . The role will require familiarity with a variety of project management approaches and interaction with senior programme leads and sponsors, products, and functions globally . Experience of running cross functional data intensive projects is a must and interaction with internal compliance/audit functions are highly desired. Given the scale, complexity, and ambition of Citi's global data transformation, the EMEA CDO team is dynamic, agile, flexible, and responsive to fast changing needs. This role will need to be adept at working in this environment, handle ambiguity and complexity well, be able to deliver on multiple responsibilities and most importantly be extremely 'hands on'. Excellent communication skills are required in order to communicate and negotiate internally, often at a senior level.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with other senior managers to c reate and maintain the high-level roadmap and oversee the execution
  • Work with team members on detailed project plans/ timeline s and co-ordinate sign-off of deliverables
  • Track projects through the full lifecycle and ensure they are completed o n time , to budget and adhere to the firm's standards
  • Ensure RAID items are proactively tracked and escalated when required
  • Manage budget trackers and forecasting for the portfolio
  • Contribute to best practices and own governance standards within the group a s well as coordinate with the central and other regional delivery teams
  • Lead the preparation of consolidated materials from project reports for regular status reviews by key stakeholders (PRA, UK ExCo, EMEA transformation)
  • Enable data drive n decisions from the Project/Programme reports
  • Ensure that accurate reports and reports are maintained, and appropriate change control is adhered to
  • Promote the use of digital automated tools over manual processes and handoffs
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Significant banking or financial services experience (10 + years)
  • Experience running regulatory driven project/workstream
  • Self -motivated and able to work autonomously, proactive and energetic with attention to detail
  • Ability to handle complexity, ambiguity and a fast changing, often demanding work environment
  • Extensive evidence of hands-on delivery/execution
  • Experience with cross-functional / business delivery, ideally with large data-intensive programme /project management experience
  • Project Management/ Business analysis experience and ability to break complex problems into bitesize chunks
  • Demonstrated ability to interact and work effectively with large, complex and diverse teams
  • Excellent executive communications skills
  • Interaction with regulators, reviews and interaction with internal compliance/audit functions are highly desired
Education:

Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters/MBA degree
