Department overview
The GFASS UK Recon Utility function sits within Global Fund Accounting and is responsible for providing reconciliation services in respect of the client's collective investment portfolios including cash & asset reconciliations.
Your role
  • Performs complex fund/client accounting responsibilities in areas of driving service improvement plans, targeting efficiencies, enhancing processes and specialist review functions.
  • Responsible for the completion of in-depth data analysis of reconciliations and leading engagements across business areas. Identifies trends, provides complex root cause analysis and executes on recommendations
  • Reviews and oversees user testing and the implementation of reconciliation software / rule developments.
  • Reviews and assists more junior level staff in identifying more complex issues.
  • Deciphers complex root cause analysis of reconciliation breaks
Assist the Managers with the following tasks:
  • Performance monitoring, reporting and escalation, including collation of monthly KRI, KPI, Productivity and other MI data.
  • New Starter Setups, onboardings and training co-ordination
  • BCP/Information Risk & Record Management lead
  • New business/client onboardings
  • Develop a sound understanding of all technical functions and processes across the dept.
  • Identify processes/procedures which may be causing delays in performing the reconciliation function and escalate so that these issues may be addressed and resolved.
  • No Direct reports but may provide guidance to less experienced team members
  • May have people management responsibilities in some geographies
  • Contributes to the achievement of related team objectives
The successful candidate will demonstrate/possess:
• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• 5-7 years of total work experience preferred.
• Experience in financial services with Industry knowledge of securities and investments preferred

• Typical Hours/Shifts: 8:00-4:00 / 9:00 - 5:00
• Monday - Friday
