Alter Domus is currently seeking a Business Analyst to join our Data and Analytics team at our London or remote office.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Responsible for capturing customer business requirements
  • Lead discovery and requirements gathering for platform development and large client onboarding projects
  • Gather, understand and document business objectives and requirements and translate them into actionable work items
  • Prepare client-facing documentation and presentation materials
  • Develop user acceptance testing plan based on business use cases
  • Write user stories and work closely with engineering and automation QA team to support ongoing development
  • Define and articulate business rules required for data accuracy, validity and consistency
  • Investigate identified issues in solution or data quality and work with product manager to define priorities
  • Regularly report on team and release progress using internal tools
  • Prepare training materials for users
  • Design and populate reports and client-facing presentations
  • Work with business owners to secure user acceptance and support business operations during and after implementation
YOUR PROFILE:
  • Previous experience in the alternatives industry, potentially as a fund admin or business analyst
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication (verbal and listening) and collaboration skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to work within a team setting
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Demonstrated focus on quality
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Capable of managing competing priorities effectively
  • Proven experience in interfacing with customers (internal and external)
  • Proficient in PPT and Excel with preferred exposure to Jira/ Figjam/ Notion
  • Consistently deliver on commitments, taking ownership and overcoming obstacles
  • Experience with technical platforms and general understanding of IT concepts such as cloud environments, APIs and data pipelines
