We are working with one of the UK's leading VCT funds. Our client has over £300m AUM to deploy across the UK into a range of sectors from Life Sciences, Technology and Consumer sectors. They are looking to deploy £50m in 2023, with tickets ranging from £1-5m.
What the job involves
We are working with one of the UK's leading VCT funds. Our client has over £300m AUM to deploy across the UK into a range of sectors from Life Sciences, Technology and Consumer sectors. They are looking to deploy £50m in 2023, with tickets ranging from £1-5m.
What the job involves
- Build out a strong network with industry experts, entrepreneurs, venture capital peers and advisors
- Take ownership over deal execution, from due diligence, negotiation, to documentation and work stream co-ordination
- Support portfolio companies through leading board meetings and analysing possible exit plans
- Experience within a relevant sector, this could be investment banking, consulting, corporate finance, start-up/scale-up experience
- Investing experience is highly desired
- Strong communication skills, someone who can build and maintain relationships and take a lead on business development
- Take a lead in managing the execution of deals and leading junior staff
