Equity Research Associate - Global Hotels & Leisure

As a Research Associate on the Global Hotels & Leisure team you will:

• Acquire expertise in the sector and the key issues facing its companies and investors alike, working closely with an experienced Senior Analyst as well as with adjacent teams in Europe, Asia and the US.
• Become adept at in-depth analysis of your industry and companies
• Demonstrate idea generation and make significant contributions to our highly differentiated written product and forward-looking financial analysis
• Develop relationships with institutional clients, sales and trading, as well as interact with senior management of companies in your industry

Qualifications

Our Research Associates typically possess:

• A 1st class or 2:1 undergraduate degree in a relevant academic subject such as Economics, Mathematics, the Sciences or Engineering from a university that is widely recognised as being ranked within the top 10-20 institutions in its field
• Finance related skills e.g. financial and market modeling, valuation and M&A analysis are a plus
• Excellent broad-based understanding of research methodologies typically built upon a quantitative undergraduate degree
• Excellent broad-based analytical skills
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Solid understanding of company financial statements and accounting (may have credentials such as the CFA, ACA or CPA)
• Relentless intellectual curiosity and a drive to excel at the highest level
