As a Manager, based in either the London or Edinburgh office, you will be the key person responsible for the reporting related to the GIG portfolio. Working closely with the Directors of the Portfolio Management team as well as the assets managers within GIG, you will be responsible for delivering the reports necessary to monitor the financial and technical evolution, performance and risks of the GIG portfolio.

One of the main responsibilities of the role involves:
  • Manage and coordinate the global reporting obligations of GIG for qualitative and quantitative data on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Consolidate and summarise reports from assets managers to ensure the key messages are escalated to senior management across a range of portfolio companies and sectors
  • Review and improve the quality of data and information provided by asset managers as part of the reporting requirements
  • Own and manage various portfolio databases (eg. pipeline, credentials, etc)
  • Continuously look to improve reporting formats, templates and processes.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
  • Experience of reporting with a strong ability to summarise, focus on the material points and identify risks
  • Existing experience of the renewables and/or infrastructure industry
  • Good interpersonal and teamwork skills giving you the ability to interact with various stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A self-motivated, committed work ethic
  • Keen attention to detail and a drive for high quality delivery
  • Strong problem solving and analytic ability
  • Strong data management and research skills
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and strong prioritisation skills
  • Being able to work in a fast-paced environment and able to deliver within tight timelines

This is an excellent opportunity to get global exposure to the renewable energy sector, and interact directly with highly ambitious, entrepreneurial and inspiring leaders within the industry.
