What you will be responsible for:
THE ROLE
Provide support, communication, and coordination of Sales, Consultant Relations, Relationship Management and Client Servicing activities within relevant business stream, including coverage for both local and satellite offices. Develop a thorough understanding of the products and vehicles at MFS to effectively assist in the relationship management efforts. Enhance client relationships by providing outstanding service.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Work with external and internal contacts to pull together all materials, logistics, and other details relative to finals presentations, sales meetings, and client meetings for assigned territory. Interface with investment department and senior management in coordination of meetings. Initiate and follow-through on problem resolution and information requests.
  • Work with automated systems to autonomously pull together materials, understanding and applying business and local compliance rules as required.
  • Create customized sales and marketing presentations for full spectrum of institutional investment based on knowledge of the product(s), benchmark, and other data. Create ad hoc materials (due diligence, product, etc.) to enhance sales process.
  • Oversee the production/distribution of client review books (including providing customized data), and correspondence. Proof figures for "reasonableness" and accuracy. Highlight unusual statistics to Relationship Managers for possible additional research. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency of producing client materials.
  • Field inquiries from field team to properly assess their needs and direct them to a solution. Determine the urgency of the request. Determine which information is appropriate to send to the sales prospect or client. Ensure satisfaction with service level received.
  • Act as primary liaison/contact for sales and relationship management personnel within assigned territory, including coverage for both local and satellite offices.
  • Utilize CRM database as central resource to maintain and track all appropriate contacts and activities within assigned territory. Generate regular and custom reports as necessary.
  • Develop, communicate and implement workflow procedures relative to sales and relationship management functions. Communicate issues or trends to manager relative to workflow, operational, or compliance issues that arise in course of job responsibilities.
  • Coordinate all aspects of external events such as roadshows, product focused events and industry conferences. Represent MFS at industry conferences/events as requested. Manage all details with event planning and external vendors working within department budget. Manage coordination and production of all materials. Act as primary contact to all external attendees to MFSI sponsored events. Coordinate regular and specialized mailings to established contact lists. Determine customized lists for targeted and time sensitive communications.
  • Assist other teams within the department and perform additional duties as requested by manager.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education or experience.
  • 0-1 years related experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal direction, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to organize and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously with great attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
