We are now looking for a Global Benefits Manager to join our growing team. This position will play a critical role in administering best-in-class benefits for our organisation. You will be excited about building & scaling the Benefits function to support the company's growth, M&A integration, and competition for talent. You will work alongside HR teams, Finance, Vendor Management, and Leadership to operationalise and support the strategy to ensure it is embraced across the organisation.

This newly created role is based in London, UK so you can provide direct support for our growing European business (including UK, Ireland, Luxembourg, and, Switzerland) as well as other global locations. The Global Benefits Manager will report to the Director, Global Benefits based in the US but will develop and maintain a strong relationship across our Global Workforce Development function and with business unit leaders. This is a highly visible hands-on position responsible for the formulation of strategy around and executing the administration of employee benefit and pension schemes. This role is a hybrid role so with some time in the office and some time working from home each week.

What you will do:
  • Ensure the benefits offerings are harmonised across the group and a clear structure of processes is in place, defining and driving the employee benefits and wellbeing strategy as well as cultivating new ideas and innovative ways to engage the business
  • Ensure benefit offerings are competitive by researching trends to identify scope of benefit offerings in the short and long term
  • Build our business case to drive plan design decisions including financial modelling, legal and compliance considerations and connections to the overall attraction and retention strategy
  • Project manage and implement new benefit programs and benefit program consolidations with internal stakeholders such as Business Unit HR Partners, HR Operations, Payroll, Legal, IT and Risk/Compliance, acting as subject matter expert on benefit and retirement laws and regulations in order to ensure compliance
  • Support the integration of employee and benefit programs in any mergers or acquisitions in the region in partnership with the applicable country business leaders, HR Leaders, and the US Total Rewards team
  • Co-ordinate annual benefit renewals in conjunction with appointed brokers and vendors and manage ongoing education of employees on the benefits available to them
  • Manage updates and online enrolment processes and work with vendors on plan changes, enrolments, and communication
  • Perform annual plan compliance testing, reporting, and audits, working with employees, vendors, and brokers to handle inquiries, and escalate issues to ensure quick, equitable, and courteous resolution

What we need from you:
  • Demonstrable and significant experience in benefits and retirement: must have international benefits and pensions experience, encompassing UK and Ireland
  • Passionate about driving employee engagement. Strong communication / influencing skills and effective at managing senior stakeholder relationships
  • Outstanding interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong analytical, organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Experience working in a matrix environment, with experience of wider global benefit and retirement plans a plus
  • Ideally, strong data analysis skills including Excel to intermediate level (look ups and pivot tables)
