Schroders Enterprise Change is growing in its delivery of large scale, cross group change. We require an individual with excellent co-ordination skills to support the mobilisation of large scale, cross domain, enterprise-wide programmes and to facilitate the recruitment, onboarding and upskilling of new programme support resources to Schroders teams.

The activities and programmes supported by the successful individual will enable continuing growth of the Schroders business, and pro-active adherence to global regulatory frameworks, through the effective mobilisation of priority programmes in alignment with our agreed change portfolio and framework.

The team
You will be part of Business Transformation at Schroders. We develop, design and deliver solutions to enterprise level challenges and we consist of a number of specialist practices: Business Architecture, Advisory, Business Development, Planning Portfolio & Governance and Enterprise Change Delivery.
This role is within the Enterprise Change Team. We are a friendly, supportive and collaborative team comprising of Change Managers, Change Analysts and Portfolio & Planning specialists who manage the delivery of Enterprise wide cross-domain change programmes and projects.
This role will be part of the 'Change Architecture Team' which directly supports key programme mobilisation and delivery, as well as providing holistic and practical support for change functions and resources across Schroders.

What you'll do
Work alongside the Change Architect to assess the programme support roles and requirements to effectively enable the timely, efficient and effective mobilisation of key enterprise-wide programmes through cross group collaboration with the key aims of:
• Creating a support function that is an appropriate to the scope and scale of the programme being mobilised. This includes recruitment, onboarding and upskilling of the required support resources.
• Creating a governance framework that supports the effective delivery of a range of programme and portfolio activities and is in line with the Schroders Change Methodologies.
• Provide guidance to new programme support teams to lead programme 'mobilisation' sessions that communicate the agreed governance framework and establish a firm foundation for ensuring all the programme team understands and buys into the programme vision, objectives, approach, initial roadmaps and plans and engenders the basis of a 'one team' approach moving forwards.
• Provide guidance to new programme support teams to define and set-up the required governance forums, including, where appropriate, ExCo, SteerCo, Programme Boards and Delivery Updates.
• Advise programme support resources on the population of KeyedIn including: programme and project / workstream forecasts, milestones, risks & issues, high level business case. This includes the method for approving and creating new P-Codes.

Additionally, you will work with the Change Architect and the Portfolio, Planning & Governance team to define, develop and embed an induction process for new programme support resources. This will include:
• Defining an 'Induction Programme' for new programme resources in order to quickly upskill new joiners.
• Production of training/support materials and ensuring that new joiners are fully educated in Project & Programme Management Office processes, policies and toolsets
• Communicating the existence of the 'Induction Programme' to all Schroders Change Teams and advocating the adoption of the programme for all new programme support resources across Schroders.
• Ongoing input to a 'Programme Support Centre of Excellence' for concurrent and future change programmes via the sharing of individual and collective skills and experience.
• Contribute towards the strategic development of the Programme Support Centre of Excellence, Programme & Project governance and delivery frameworks and Change Methodologies, through reviewing past performance, making and agreeing recommended improvements and supporting the effective implementation of such changes.

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
• Must have experience of complex mobilisations and change management within Financial Services
• Experience of training and supporting teams around PMO systems and processes
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Experience of the financial aspects of setting up and managing an enterprise-wide programme
• Good understanding and demonstrated application of established project / programme management lifecycles, methodologies, governance and frameworks including:
• Creating, implementing and controlling agreed assurance and governance frameworks.
• Developing and tracking Programme Roadmaps, Integrated Programme Plans and Project / Workstream Plans.
• Progress reporting
• RAID (Risk, Assumption, Issue and Dependency) Management
• Change Management and Control
• An ability to adapt processes to align with the nature of the project / programme.
• Good stakeholder engagement and management skills
• Ability to quickly develop effective working relationships and have the capability to work under your own initiative
• Ability to challenge colleagues and stakeholders in order to influence the implementation and adoption of appropriate governance frameworks

The knowledge, experience and qualifications that will help
• Experience of having worked in an enterprise-wide Project / Programme Support function and working with senior stakeholders
• Experience of Agile working practices is desirable
• A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
• Experience of training and developing colleagues to a minimum standard
