The appointed Product Communications Manager will play a central and hands-on role in our marketing function, and bring our technology to market. We are looking for a talented individual with the aptitude and experience to strategically position B2B products and build strong collateral to support the sales and marketing teams.

Sitting within the Product team, the primary purpose of the role is to drive the promotion of our two products, and raise market awareness of our product excellence. The candidate will support the sales team with the creation of exciting, consistent and effective materials, and engage our prospects and customers worldwide. This includes curating and creating offline and online collateral and sales material for online channels, events, campaigns, social media and other outputs.

DUTIES
  • Bring fresh ideas and first-principles thinking to the strategy and delivery of compelling customer-facing material
  • Manage the end-to-end creation, design and execution of market product strategies surrounding product positioning within the fintech market
  • Own the messaging, organisation and discipline around our sales and product marketing collateral
  • Produce world-class sales collateral that communicates the product value proposition and drives target audience engagement
  • Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.)
  • Work with the marketing team to strategise and optimise the delivery of content on the website and social media channels
  • Communicate directly with clients and partners and encourage trusting relationships where needed
  • Understand trends in financial services, technology and SaaS to identify new topics for internal and external content
Requirements

Essential
  • Strong academic background: Russell Group university graduates preferred
  • 3+ years experience in product marketing, product management, or working with complex technical products sold to financial services
  • Meticulous attention to detail in the production of written and technical content
  • Eager to work in a fast-moving, ever-changing fintech company
  • Able to understand and effectively communicate technical products to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proven track record of writing and publishing business-related documentation and presentations
Desirable
  • Previous experience working in a fintech, or a company selling technology solutions to financial services
  • Portfolio of published work demonstrating the ability to articulate complex product messaging to a financial services audience
  • Experience working with complex B2B software marketing environments
  • Experience collaborating across regions in an international marketing function
