Senior C# Quant Developer

C# Quant Developer- 12 month initial contract - OUTSIDE IR35

My client a successful trading firm is looking for a high calibre software engineer to join their team and help deliver solutions to their Risk Management. This is a highly visible position with excellent development opportunity.

They are building an industry leading trading platform that is a flexible, high throughput trading system at the core of the firm's trading business which manages and executes various trading algorithms for thousands of clients.

Key requirements:

• Expert level knowledge of C#/.NET Framework, with knowledge of programming patterns and developing in a multi-threaded environment.
• Strong experience in multi-threaded programming and object-oriented design
• Strong experience building connected, service-oriented applications, REST, WebApi, JSON.
• Familiarity with Agile development processes and sprint planning
• Experience with Database Systems (Microsoft SQL preferred)
• Experience in Dev/Ops (JIRA / Git / Build Automation / Deployment Automation, Unit Testing

• Prior experience developing risk systems for any or all of the following asset classes: interest rate swaps, interest rates, derivatives etc (Highly beneficial)
