They are currently hiring a Backend Python Engineer to utilise their technical skillset in areas such as construction of specialised financial based APIs and development of flagship analytical platforms while leveraging modern technology to free up their institutional investor's resources by providing insight and analytics on financial information and reports.
The firm's primary client base includes hedge funds, asset managers and investment banks.

Engineer Deliverables:
- Develop current platforms and applications through Python and Django/Flask
- To advance the full API infrastructure as the organisation scale up through web application throughout this year
- Exposure to cloud technologies, AWS focus with serverless technology exposure
- Build B2B focused APIs
- Provide experienced consultations on business strategy and technological decisions
- Influence the automation strategy across the credit analyst workflow
Essential Skills:
- Python
- Django/Flask
- API development experience
- Exposure to UI development is a bonus (e.g., React)
