Approx Salary: Up to £75,000 + Bonus & Benefits.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain a suite of applications providing critical near "real time" and historic management information
  • Gather requirements for data reporting from business stakeholders
  • Develop ad-hoc and scheduled reports containing transactional data analysis for internal and external clients.
  • Ensure existing reporting applications deliver consistent and accurate data to front office users.
  • Provide training and guidance for business users.
  • Maintain system security and standing data (including inter-system mappings).


Experience / Competencies:
  • Good SQL Server essential.
  • DB/2, PL/SQL and SSAS would be a distinct advantage.
  • Proven SQL Skills including stored procedures, transactions, user defined functions, DB security management and design, SQL Server Reporting Services and advanced, cross server queries.
  • The ability to turn your hand to anything, manage your own workload and deliver - often to short deadlines.
  • Knowledge of the financial markets, broking and MIFID II, while not essential would be nice to have.
  • Demonstrated and effective communication skills in writing and verbally.
  • Open to innovative ideas/ experiences and ability to create new ideas, approaches or insights.
  • Understands ideas and has a viewpoint on the markets and economy.
  • Evidence of being comfortable working in fast paced or pressured environments.
