Established top 15 firm with a reputation for excellence is seeking an experienced Senior Manager. This role would be an excellent move for somebody currently working with large and or listed clients but seeking more of a work life balance.
The role:
To become part of the firm's team which provides a wide range of audit, accounting and advisory services to their clients.
The team and its Partners advise businesses, ranging from large multi-national corporations to SMEs and pride themselves on the professionalism and commercialism that they bring to their clients. The firm also has an excellent work life balance with genuine care for the well bring and family lives of its staff which makes for a very positive working environment.
There is also the opportunity to work on one-off projects, particularly within the Risk Assurance and Corporate Finance department. International secondments are also on offer at the
Responsibilities
The Senior Audit Manager will take responsibility for managing a wide range of clients that operate in different sectors. They will run their own sizeable portfolio
They will be responsible for:
Managing the audit process
Ensures agreed deliverables are within the set timeframe.
Budgeting and invoicing clients
Staff planning and management of them during the course of the audit
Inclusion of tender process when necessary
Networking opportunities
Opportunities to do corporate finance work when required.
The firm will also provide the manager with regular technical training and also with the necessary soft skills development that will help them progress quickly
The successful applicant will be outgoing and resilient, with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
The position will require an high level of ability and commitment, with the flexibility to work long hours as required. Candidates should be self-motivated, display a positive approach and have the ability to get things done.
In addition, they should possess the confidence and professionalism to establish credibility at all levels, be commercially minded and have a clear perception of client requirements.
Qualifications and experience
Candidates should be ACA /ACCA qualified.
The successful candidate will possess a wide range of audit experience with solid people management skills.
The candidate will need to have experience in managing a portfolio of small to large clients as well as having the required understanding of FRS102 and IFRS.
The firm will provide training and support to help develop the successful candidate's specialist knowledge and capabilities.
Systems used are Excel, Word and Case ware
