As a Barclays Fraud Insight Manager, you will be supporting the development and embedding of BI plastic (credit and debit cards) fraud data strategy, driving the delivery of data-led initiatives and optimisation of fraud risk systems, toolkits and processes via data insight.

What will you be doing?
• Acting as lead point of contact and subject matter expert for BI plastic on all matters pertaining to fraud risk including regulatory reporting requirements
• Applying high level knowledge of fraud detection/prevention and operational best practices to successfully deliver innovative solutions
• Conducting regular evaluation of fraud capabilities and controls across the Fraud eco-system
• Identifying opportunities and drive the ecosystem to be flexible, agile, efficient, and cost effective striking the balance between fraud loss reduction and customer experience
• Investigating root cause, design and implement analytically based solutions to understand fraud trends and generate long-term value for the business and the customers
• Representing BI plastic Fraud Management and provide effective oversight and challenge at business committees, as well as external forums when necessary
• Working with the different stakeholders to establish appropriate risk appetite limits and controls when delivering new and amended business initiatives
• Coordinating the delivery of risk appropriate training for colleagues and clients, where required or requested
What we're looking for:
• Experience of working across areas of Fraud within data intensive environments
• Experience of using SAS, SQL, Data Visualisation Tools
• Personal leadership - high work ethic with good relationship building and coordination skills
• Ability to identify opportunities and define data-led strategies to deliver against
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Experience of managing controls within Fraud function, including Operations
• Prior knowledge or experience within a fraud strategy and/or analytics role
• Prior knowledge or experience working with fraud systems such as TS2 (TSYS), Broadcom, Falcon, RSA
• Completion of a degree in a numerate or semi-numerate subject or significant relevant experience

Northampton was the birthplace of Barclaycard in 1966 and we've been based in Pavilion Drive since the building opened in 1997.
We purchased the building from the landlord in early 2018 as a sign of our commitment to investment in Northampton. Plans to further develop this Campus-style location are under way to allow for a real collaborative work environment. Based just off the A45 it is easily accessible by both car and bus routes.
