M&A Intern or Analyst - Leading tech focused boutique

Our client is a mid-market technology advisory and Investment business (80/20 % Advisory to Investing) who is looking to hire a 6-month intern with the intention to go permanent after or a straight Analyst (if experienced).

The business is widely regarded as market leading experts for the sub-sectors, and clients include household names and up-and-coming entrepreneurial companies looking for help with growth. Exceptional deal flow across Sell-Side, Fund Raising and Retained buy sides.
The team are looking for bright, energetic, and ambitious intern or Analyst to join their team.
The team will train the individual full on processes from origination to execution. As a boutique, the company are well positioned to ensure an candidate will experience the entire life cycle of a deal.
Candidate Requirements:
• Exceptional academics (Master's and above)
• A finance/accounting background is beneficial, although not necessary. A medical or scientific background would also benefit our health tech coverage
• Strong interests in technology segments (edtech, Medtech, foodtech, ConsumerTech, Digital Infra) and ambition in corporate finance, M&A, or investments
• Entrepreneurial spirit
• Excellent presentation and client facing skills
• Analytical prowess and methodical nature

Structure:
• 6-month internship with goal of converting into analyst role, subject to performance OR Direct Analyst recruit (dependant on Experience)
• On the job training and structured training
