Job Purpose:
This position is part of BNY Mellon's Corporate Treasury Asset Liability Management Information team, (ALM-MIS). The main purpose is check that the database is fit for purpose with regard to Liquidity reporting and Regulatory reporting, With minimal supervision, the successful candidate will conduct reconciliation and balance sheet adjustments in support of more senior team members tasked with controlling the risks associated with all balance sheet line items and products offered by BNY Mellon.
Responsibilities:
• Daily/monthly/quarterly reconciliation of the balance sheet database including adjustment processing.
Requirements:
• Skilled in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables.
• Some experience with Database Structure and the ability to use SQL for data analysis.
• Some experience with balance sheet data, its use, or asset-liability management within large complex financial organizations is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of PowerBI is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Degree in math, finance, statistics, computational finance, economics, engineering, or computer science preferred. Work toward or completion of MBA, CFA, or CPA/CA preferred. Five to seven years of total work experience preferred. Some experience with balance sheet data, its use, governance and management, and related data in any of the following: liquidity analytics and reporting; liquidity stress testing; liquidity risk management, interest rate risk management, or asset-liability management within large complex financial organizations is strongly preferred.
• Significant years' experience in Corporate Treasury and or Financial Industry
