The Data Transformation team drives data governance strategy for the firm's data and the adoption of consistent standards and capabilities.

Overview of the Team
Situated within the Enterprise Chief Data Office (ECDO), the Data Privacy, Use and Records Management team leads the programs focused on:
  • effectively and efficiently managing data that is subject to Privacy requirements globally
  • effectively and efficiently managing records, ensuring that we both retain and dispose of data and documents as required
Within this context, the Implementation & Developments team manages Enterprise implementation projects and also monitors and reports on Data transformation activities relating to Privacy, Use and Records Management.

Role / Position Overview
The Project Office Lead will establish and lead the activity to monitor and report on projects / initiatives both within the ECDO Privacy & Records Management team, and also more broadly across other functions in the bank

Reporting Line: Implementation & Developments Lead

Responsibilities
  • Establish a Project Office to monitor, track and report on projects / initiatives delivering Data Transformation objectives related to Privacy, Use and Records Management.
  • Ensure adherence to all Citi Project Management standards and Policies, including required use of Project Management Tools
  • Ensure sound project management for entire portfolio, including ensuring clear deliverables and timeframes, timely identification of risks to delivery, identified internal clients / beneficiaries, and a process that ensures accurate milestone reporting and changes.
  • Manage and coordinate budgets and financials, managing the process through our internal approval processes
  • Support Project Leads in resolving issues and escalations
  • Establish a suitable Governance framework
  • Develop and execute a stakeholder engagement and communication plan
  • Independently create highly impactful presentations for various senior management meetings including Steering Committees, Monthly Governance, Bi-weekly governance, and other forums as needed
Leadership:
  • Proven experience in leading a Project Office, providing quality control and oversight
  • A strong practical understanding of Project Office best practices in order to establish effective governance, monitoring and reporting processes
  • Drive the initiative to bring about consistent reporting and communication of data transformation activity
  • Lead development of metrics in order to clearly measure progress, and develop a simple repeatable process to produce them on regular cadence.
  • Coordinate and drive presentations to all audiences
  • Ensure we have a diverse team and a positive culture of inclusion.
Qualifications
  • 6-10 years of direct project management office experience in a Financial organization
  • Must have ability to Track/ Report both high level and detail level status
  • Must have experience in presenting roadmap, status, risks and issues to senior stakeholders
  • Very strong skills needed in Excel, PowerPoint to create meaningful metrics and presentations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills - proven ability to communicate effectively, drive consensus, and influence relationships at all levels.
  • Able to lead and facilitate meetings and workshops with a range of stakeholders
  • Proven ability to act independently, work quickly and with careful attention to detail, juggle multiple priorities and thrive in a varied, fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure and within tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills; sound judgment and demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
