Audit Manager

Morgan Mckinley is working with a top 100, highly rated London firm who are looking to recruit an Audit manager.

The successful candidate would have the opportunity to take charge of the management of the significant portfolio of the firms Audit clients ranging from US headquartered technology companies, established UK SME's, household names in the fintech industry, hospitality businesses, sports teams, experts in cybersecurity and those operating in the world of cryptocurrency. In addition the firm has solid relationships with some exciting clients across Silicon Valley.

Key Accountabilities

• Manage and lead a dedicated team, directing, organising and deploying staff on assignments and managing client relationships.
• Lead a portfolio of clients to a high technical standard:
• Review of audit planning, fieldwork and completion.
• Review of audit finalisation documents including financial statements and reports to management.
• Reporting to clients and answering questions on the audit and statutory financial statements.
• Point of contact for the audit engagement team.
• Reporting on a regular basis to the Directors on auditing and accounting issues.

Knowledge and Experience

• Fully qualified ACA or ACCA with at least two years post qualification experience.
• Strong experience in managing staff.
• Experience in advising, mentoring and reviewing audits and statutory accounts assignments for small, medium and large companies.
