The Role:

We are working to make saving and investing simple, rewarding and reassuring whilst making an impact for the better. You will be part of a team that is delivering change experiences for all our of platform users both internally and externally. The Platform Change team's main goal is to understand and shape the platform product and drive the transformation and change agenda to ensure the platform is market leading.
As a Platform Product Consultant/Manager you will analyse and manage an area of platform change (internal or external) which could mean focusing on a regulatory/industry change. client journey or core platform functionality.

Key Responsibilities for this role:

• Act as the business lead for certain programs or change initiatives, developing direction, business cases and plans to ensure delivery of tangible change for our customers and colleagues.
• Collaboration with your product, technical, distribution, operations and marketing colleagues in the delivery of business change outcomes
• Report to and attend governance forums to ensure stakeholder engagement in change.
• Ability to understand the wider business and industry strategy and direction and put new items into appropriate changes in context ensuring key decisions are taken or escalated where appropriate
• Work closely with the Head of Platform Change on the management of your part of the portfolio backlog, scope and prioritization
• Develop and maintain a strong understanding or relevant regulatory requirements and how hey manifest into our organisation
• Work closely with your cross functional team enabling them to operate efficiently through clear and timely decision making on scope
• Responsible for leading the scope of design of features that meet clearly identified customer need and business outcomes
• Responsible for ensuring the solution is appropriately understood with all users and stakeholders
• Ability to positively promote the work of the team
• Contribute to the development of our product management approach increasing the awareness of the capability across the business

Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Essential:

• You have been part of a team managing a successful internal or external facing platform change
• Experience delivering change in complex organizations
• You are comfortable working with a technical team and regulations
• You are comfortable working with providing direction where ambiguity exists
• You are comfortable challenging and being challenged on your views in a collaborative manners
• You have a track record of quickly establishing yourself within a new industry to understand the needs of users and the opportunities to meet these
• You have sufficient technical knowledge to understand and debate solutions and sizing of work
• You have working knowledge and experience of investment platforms

Desirable:
Whilst experience within our industry is not essential, we'd really like to hear from candidates who have worked within the investment platform domain and it helps to have a background in:
• Platform or pensions products,
• Deep knowledge of Investment Platform markets and competitors
• Financial services regulatory frameworks
• Product Management certification
• You have experience of a range of agile development methodologies and tools
