Placement and Duration
Analysts will be pre-placed to a department within Technology, and upon completion of the training programme, they will join a technology team that best matches their skills and interests. We welcome Analysts for this programme in August.
Training Programme
Analysts join in August. Depending on their technical skills, graduates attend either the Application Development or the Enterprise Engineering track of the training programme. This 15-week global programme includes an orientation to the Firm, intensive technology training and an introduction to proprietary technologies, and culminates with a four-week group project. The programme allows graduates to build a strong network among their peers and build the comprehensive skills required to prepare them for a full-time role and a long-term career.
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Enterprise Engineering Teams
Our engineering teams build cutting edge platforms to run every aspect of our business. This includes the Firm's networks, cyber security infrastructure, cloud integration, computing hardware, databases and much more. Projects available include developing pioneering data security solutions, managing global Windows and Linux infrastructure deployments, driving cloud adoption and working with state-of-the-art technology solutions. Our engineers work closely with internal business partners and external vendors at the forefront of the industry.
  • Application Development Teams
Our development teams build applications that enable our business to perform. Covering the full software development lifecycle, day to day they typically meet with clients to gather and analyse requirements; determine, design and develop the optimal solutions for the problems our clients face; then test, deploy and enhance the applications in production. They work on a wide range of applications from streamlining complex reporting workflows to high-performing, low-latency electronic trading systems.
Qualifications and Skills
  • You must be studying towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM based subject.
  • You should have an understanding of Operating Systems, familiar with foundations in at least one programming language (e.g. Python, Java or C++) with good problem-solving skills and a strong passion for Technology.
