Role Objective:

The role holder will focus primarily on the office sector and will have strong analytical skills with the ability to work across multiple UK real estate funds based on their London office. The role holder will be responsible for asset management initiatives, modelling fund-level projected performance, asset-level business plans, cash flow, income projections, and transactions, and will also provide input into the investor and internal reporting preparations.

In this role you will:
  • Develop asset business plans and cash flows on selected assets
  • Consolidate plans into the annual fund strategy statement
  • Implement value add initiatives including oversight of leasing, rent reviews, and capital works across a selection of assets
  • Oversight of day-to-day property management on your individual assets and consolidating/analysing monthly arrears and bad debt impacts on fund distribution
  • Update the Excel-based quarterly fund model by analysing income projections, cashflow requirements, and market and transactional impacts
  • Manage the monthly fund capital expenditure schedules
  • Assist the relevant fund manager with portfolio statistics required for investor reporting and helping to draft quarterly fund reports

Key Requirements:
  • Property experience and APC (RICS) qualification are preferable
  • Strong knowledge of the commercial real estate markets and specific interest in offices
  • Understanding of the sustainability requirements of the property and specifically the office sector
  • Strong Excel modelling skills and exposure to ARGUS will be beneficial in this role
  • Understanding of the drivers of performance and value creation in a property
  • Innovative and analytical with good attention to detail, and clear in providing outputs and rationale
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
