Job Description

The role
The Card Processing team is responsible for the core business of Checkout: processing card transactions, both for pay-ins and pay-outs and anywhere in the world. Checkout operates as an acquirer in dozens of countries in the EEA, US, MENA and APAC, with the full processing stack built in house - and we are expanding rapidly.
As a Product Director, you'll bring to the team structure and vision thanks to your broad knowledge of payments, owning every step of the product delivery lifecycle and impacting the whole merchants' portfolio of .
How you'll make an impact
  • You'll lead a team of Product Managers and Engineers through all stages of the Product Life Cycle (Discovery, Delivery, Execution, Iteration)
  • You'll guide and train your teams to become specialists in Payments
  • Work with other product and engineering leaders to ensure alignment with their roadmaps and delivery
  • Perform competitor analysis to define industry trends and differentiating factors
  • Work with your partners around the business to get their buy-in and collaboration and to generate momentum for your products
  • Partner with design teams to bring the customer experience to life
  • Work with an agile mentality
  • Gain a deep understanding of 's customer

What we're looking for
  • 5+ years of experience where you've had the chance to lead and mentor product teams
  • 3+ years of experience in the Payments space, working with various partners like card schemes or Payment Service Providers
  • You think from the customer perspective, and are always aware of the desired experience
  • Data driven, you clearly define success metrics and measure progress against them
  • Ability to build bridges across the organisation with high EQ and influencing skills
  • Effective communicator: you can get others excited
  • Experience handling the full lifecycle of software products: Private Beta to Public Availability
  • Experience hiring, managing, and building impactful Product Management teams
