The CAO is primarily composed of Anti-Financial Crime (AFC), Compliance, Legal, Regulatory Affairs and the Chief Operating Office. Our global network offers an exciting working environment and the opportunity to work with experts and specialist teams around the world:
    * AFC: The AFC function performs a critical role in keeping Deutsche Bank's business operations as well as the global financial services clean from financial crime while serving the interests of the bank and society at large. Thus, AFC cooperates closely with regulatory authorities and also contributes to the fight against cybercrime.
    * Compliance: Compliance is mandated by regulators to be a fully independent control function that monitors, assesses and trains on compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and internal policies, provides advice on compliance to the management body and other relevant staff, and establishes policies and processes to manage compliance risks.

Group Governance) is a fully independent infrastructure function, mandated to provide legal advice both to the Management Board as well as to the business divisions and infrastructure functions and to support the Management Board in setting up and guarding DB's Governance framework and manage the Bank's Legal and Governance Risk.
    * Regulatory Affairs: The Regulatory Affairs team is responsible for the Bank's relationships and cooperation with regulators providing a clear understanding of regulatory requirements.
    * Chief Operating Office: The Chief Operating Office supports the Chief Administrative Office in fulfilling its holistic responsibility and drives the strategy of the CAO.
