Key responsibilities:
Requirements
- Responsibility for driving sales and inflows for the firm's range of Private Equity funds
- Proactively identify sales opportunities and materialise net new inflows, working in collaboration with regional sales managers
- Consistently refreshing an opportunity pipeline by creating new and relevant relationships
- Liaise with Portfolio Managers for roadshow briefings and investor feedback
- Proactively take ownership of the entire sales process, whilst working closely with internal Sales, Marketing and Operations teams to meet investors' needs
- Actively maintain the CRM system with updates on all current and prospective investors
- Help promote the firm's brand and strengthen client relationships by being the face and voice of the business and providing outstanding customer service
- Stay informed about financial markets in order to spot trends, look for new opportunities and establish credibility with new clients by understanding their business
Requirements
- Solid experience in Fundraising for Private Equity strategies
- A successful demonstrable track record of raising assets in a similar role
- Strong network of Private Equity investors across Europe
- Fluent English + additional European language would be a plus
- Experience in dealing with clients both face-to-face and on the telephone
- Sound knowledge of financial markets, ideally with a hedge fund or a traditional fund management firm
- Solid computer skills - Salesforce, or similar CRM system, Excel and PowerPoint
- Client-driven; high levels of client service, pro-active problem resolution, long-term view to relationship building
- Entrepreneurial and business builder mindset, able to combine niche local market knowledge with an understanding of wider business impact
- Highly entrepreneurial, driven and self-motivated
- Highly organised and experienced with managing relationships at all levels including senior management
