Key responsibilities:
  • Responsibility for driving sales and inflows for the firm's range of Private Equity funds
  • Proactively identify sales opportunities and materialise net new inflows, working in collaboration with regional sales managers
  • Consistently refreshing an opportunity pipeline by creating new and relevant relationships
  • Liaise with Portfolio Managers for roadshow briefings and investor feedback
  • Proactively take ownership of the entire sales process, whilst working closely with internal Sales, Marketing and Operations teams to meet investors' needs
  • Actively maintain the CRM system with updates on all current and prospective investors
  • Help promote the firm's brand and strengthen client relationships by being the face and voice of the business and providing outstanding customer service
  • Stay informed about financial markets in order to spot trends, look for new opportunities and establish credibility with new clients by understanding their business


Requirements
  • Solid experience in Fundraising for Private Equity strategies
  • A successful demonstrable track record of raising assets in a similar role
  • Strong network of Private Equity investors across Europe
  • Fluent English + additional European language would be a plus
  • Experience in dealing with clients both face-to-face and on the telephone
  • Sound knowledge of financial markets, ideally with a hedge fund or a traditional fund management firm
  • Solid computer skills - Salesforce, or similar CRM system, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Client-driven; high levels of client service, pro-active problem resolution, long-term view to relationship building
  • Entrepreneurial and business builder mindset, able to combine niche local market knowledge with an understanding of wider business impact
  • Highly entrepreneurial, driven and self-motivated
  • Highly organised and experienced with managing relationships at all levels including senior management
