Job Title: Jira Business Analyst / Jira Admin
Summary:
We are looking for a Jira Business Analyst for our Business Process Management team. This position is not a team lead position but is primarily a communication facilitation position - an applicant's communication skills will be prioritized over their purely Jira administration skills. We utilize Jira as the workflow management system for the technology group and other internal teams, and we utilize Confluence as our primary documentation and intranet communication tool.
Success Criteria:
You will be a success in this role if you are very detail oriented, are an effective communicator, have an ability to think through complex processes and workflows quickly, and show initiative in seeking to improve our organization's usage of both Jira and Confluence.

We are looking for a Jira Business Analyst for our Business Process Management team. Position Duties:
- Assist in gathering and writing requirements for Jira/Confluence functionality/workflow enhancements
- Assist with testing updated or new Jira and Confluence functionality to ensure it meets requirements
- Assist with the management of Jira/Confluence accounts and permissions
- Assist with troubleshooting Jira workflow issues
- Assist with developing reporting built on Jira and Confluence data points
- Learn more advanced Jira administration in collaboration with the BPM team
- Learn about the internal business workflows, growing an ability to adjust and enhance those flows in Jira
- Identify and recommend enhancements and/or expansions of the Jira and Confluence systems to improve staff productivity
- Minimum of 1 year administration of a combined Jira/Confluence environment with more than 100 users
- Minimum of 1 year of being a Jira project administrator with Confluence familiarity
- Ability to process and communicate complex workflows to both technical and non-technical colleagues
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with teammates and colleagues to solve complex issues
- Extremely strong English written and verbal communication skills, across all platforms (Zoom, Email, Slack)
- A proactive attitude and a demonstrated ability to use initiative to resolve issues
- Atlassian Certifications for Jira Project Administration is a plus
- Experience working in a Financial Technology company is a plus
- Experience working in an organization dealing with sensitive/confidential customer information
- Experience collaborating with development teams in India is a plus
