Miryco Consultants are assisting in the recruitment of a Manager Research Associate for a rapidly growing investment team as one of the first hires within the function. The team has over USD 5bn in early stages of deployment. This is a great opportunity to have direct exposure to the asset allocation of a portfolio whilst developing relationship management skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research on asset classes and markets with a strong skew toward global investment grade bonds and securitised credit, and present recommendations to CIO.
  • Manage relationships with existing and prospective asset managers as well as conducting RFP processes and monitoring performance.
  • Working with legal, negotiate IMAs and construction of benchmarks for external managers.


Requirements:
  • 2 - 5 years' experience in manager/asset class research, ideally in an insurance or consulting context.
  • Analytical background and ability to undertake and evaluate quantitative investment analysis techniques.
  • Strong familiarity with fixed income markets, especially
    • Developed Markets Investment Grade Fixed Income
    • Securitised Debt
  • Intermediate Competence with Microsoft Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • High Competence with Microsoft Excel.

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000

Bonus: 20%
