Associate 2-3, Industrials Investment Banking

This is an established, successful and well-run franchise that boasts excellent credentials. The remit is global and includes large cap Autos, Auto Distribution, Autotech etc, Capital Goods, Power and Building Tech, Automation, Rail Equipment, Aerospace etc and also verticals such as Renewables (from an OEM perspective).

Key duties

• Key involvement in the origination and execution of Corporate Finance transactions across all subsectors
• Leading in the preparation of presentations for clients, investors and the broader investment community
• Playing an active role in the execution of mandates, taking increasing responsibilities on key workstreams and deliverables
• Commercially aware and able to acts as client interface at senior level
• Excellent communication skills; impactful, and able to articulate complex issues in written and oral communication

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications

• M&A experience accrued wirhin a top investment bank or boutique, potentially from a sector team, specialist M&A group or county team
• Sector experience across Industrials is advantageous
• Thorough financial analysis experience gained at a top-tier investment bank, accounting or strategy consultancy
• Extensive experience in preparing presentation materials and advanced financial modelling skills
• Detailed knowledge of valuation techniques, due diligence, documentation, and in executing debt, equity and M&A transactions
