What you'll do

As our Data & Insight Manager, you'll be providing high quality analytical input to help develop and implement innovative performance and transformational tools. Through analysing multiple sources of information, such as web traffic, social media engagement, media coverage and relevant business operational data, you'll be identifying patterns and trends that help our leadership teams and key stakeholders to make purpose-led decisions and generate great value for the bank.

You'll also be:

  • Implementing digital and web tracking solutions to create a golden source data asset across our communication channels
  • Partnering with the business to identify the most appropriate insight solutions and supporting their delivery
  • Designing and implementing a communications measurement and analytics framework
  • Using your internal business knowledge and external research to provide new propositions to deliver enhanced performance analytics solutions
  • Collaborating closely with channel owners and delivery and planning teams to understand campaign impact and maximise return on investment


The skills you'll need

To be successful in this role, you'll need to demonstrate experience of data visualisations, dashboards, insights and applications, especially within the context of self-service insight environments. You'll pair this with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, as well as your communication skills and ability to clearly communicate issues and present your ideas to a range of audiences.

You'll also bring:

  • Knowledge of the application of data enabled technologies and underlying processes
  • Knowledge and an understanding of data, risk, and regulatory policies and guidelines and any emerging trends and best practices within the communications industry
  • Experience of web analytics, SEO, tagging and social and news media analytics tools
  • Experience of digital communications measurement and knowledge of corporate communications would be beneficial but not essential
