About our client
Our client is a well-funded investment firm focused on buyout and growth equity opportunities in industrial and medical technology markets with strong growth potential to support their expansion into the Asian markets.

This is a remarkable growth-oriented European-Asian PE mid-cap fund, seeking to invest in great companies and management teams with the aim to create global market leaders, and focusing on investments into high-quality businesses that operate in markets with secular growth trends. With prominent European and Asian investors and deep respective networks, the firm can build a unique bridge between these markets, targeting investments in Europe, the USA and Israel.

After already delivering excellent exits from their first fund, the firm has now raised the second vintage at $1.25bn, and has already completed two new investments this year, with several other deals now in very late stages; momentum is extremely strong.

The fund is looking to hire an additional Associate with native/fluent Nordic or Italian language skills to join their growing team in London.

  • Lead detailed financial and commercial analysis of investment opportunities, with active engagement in the due diligence process, specifically financial modelling
  • Participate in negotiations, execution and post-investment management with local team, while also working closely with team members in the Asian offices

Who we are looking for
  • Outstanding academic track record
  • Prior professional M&A or leveraged finance experience from a top tier investment bank, transaction experience from a renowned consulting firm or Mittelstand investment experience with a recognised private equity fund
  • Technology or industrials sector knowledge is advantageous, but not a must-have
  • A self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a passion to work in cross-cultural settings
  • Business fluency in English as well as Italian or any Nordic language are a requirement
