As a Dividend Forecasting Specialist, your actions will produce impactful results. You will need to have a passion for and an understanding of the markets. With this foundation, you'll develop expertise in key global industries and manage the corresponding data. You'll learn to leverage your financial knowledge and analytical thinking to derive meaningful insights, showcase thought leadership, and add value for our customers. That's our purpose - come find yours!

We'll trust you to:
  • Function as a subject-matter-expert internally and externally - producing, reviewing, and updating dividend forecasts for your assigned portfolio of securities
  • Conduct comprehensive, bottom-up analysis of companies to develop dividend forecasts
  • Supervise and interpret major company developments, equity and derivatives market sentiment, and identify, evaluate, and leverage themes'/trends' impact on dividends
  • Use your knowledge and expertise to generate thought leadership content via news stories, research reports, and webinars
  • Support Sales and represent Bloomberg with clients at industry events in a SME capacity to promote our data, products, and services
  • Build relationships in the market and across the business (Product, Sales, Engineering) to understand the latest trends and developments, using them to improve our product offerings
  • Lead internal projects to optimize processes and/or improve the quality of our data products
  • Provide customer support for users of Bloomberg products such as the Professional Service, News, and Enterprise Solutions, by resolving inquiries in a timely manner

You'll need to have:
  • Relevant work experience in equity analysis
  • Proven domain expertise in one or more financial datasets
  • A sound understanding of Fundamental Analysis: financial statements & ratios and company valuation metrics & models
  • Knowledge of and/or curiosity about derivatives
  • Experience maintaining your portfolio to a high standard
  • Curiosity of and willingness to explore new insights
  • Diligent research and analysis skills along with a logic-driven approach to problem solving
  • Ability to adapt within a dynamic environment, and desire to work on multidisciplinary teams
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective project management skills and ability to prioritize tasks accordingly

We'd love to see:
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Financial Risk Manager (FRM) designation
  • Degree (preferably Finance, Economics, or Science-based)
  • Experience/speciality in a particular sector, e.g. Financials
  • An ambitious outlook with the ability to identify and develop opportunities for other groups within the company and to build strong external networks
