This role is an exciting opportunity for someone with 5 - 7 years of experience to join the Risk Management Group ("RMG") as a Credit risk Manager / Senior Manager in London as an integral part of the team covering a wide range of trading businesses in EMEA.

Working as part of a team you will be the primary manager accountable for the credit risk management of a variety of businesses such as Equity Derivatives & Trading, Securities Financing and Quantitative Investment Strategies, collaborating closely with the front office to strategically manage their credit risk requirements. This will involve analysing counterparty credit risk, legal documentation and portfolio-wide and market data to facilitate new and existing business, as well as new products / ideas to help grow the business whilst maintaining appropriate risk oversight.

In addition to the core responsibilities of the role, exciting opportunities encompass due diligence calls and meetings with key clients across several businesses including hedge fund clients which require additional oversight from a credit risk perspective. You will also be performing this role as part of a team with direct management responsibility for up to two credit analysts, giving you the ability to showcase your people management skillset and hone your developing and coaching skills to motivate others to succeed. There will also be opportunities to be involved in other trading businesses, some lending activity and a variety of project, policy and framework tasks.

Ideal experience would include experience in financial markets from a recognised financial institution, knowledge of fund counterparty credit risk including hedge funds, deep technical knowledge and expertise, understanding of ISDA/CSAs and key credit terms, evidence of successful change initiatives, derivative experience including complex, structured derivatives, people management experience and time working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a strong ability to deliver.

In order to succeed in this role you will require excellent relationship building skills, a detail focused mindset and the ability to innovate to remain commercial and improve the ways in which we operate. Communication is also key in order to successfully manage front office senior stakeholders, work closely with other risk divisions and to clearly and concisely facilitate approval discussions with senior credit risk stakeholders.
