Investment Bank - Legal Entities - Senior Business Analyst

Our client is a top 10 global investment bank that is expanding its legal entities programme. Following cost and regulatory driven pressures, the bank is growing its team in London and looking for someone with experience working across legal entities projects. The successful candidate will be able to dive into the detail and define opportunities to rationalise the legal entity population, looking at what is on the balance sheet and presenting findings to senior management. The candidate will then likely build a 'closure pipeline' and manage this process.

The following backgrounds would be of interest:

1. BA skills around Brexit legal entity set up and analysis

2. Full lifecycle of legal entity set up and/or closing

3. Excellent analytical skills, either from a finance and accounting background or experience looking at balance sheets from project work

4. Experience in analysing issues arising from balance sheet analysis e.g. what is the RWA of items on the balance sheet and how does that affect the picture?

5. Exceptional presentation skills to put a story and meaningful information in front of very senior stakeholders across the bank

6. Experience leading analysis working into a broad range of stakeholders including operations, legal, finance, HR, tax, real estate

7. Experience operating at a senior VP to Director level in a major investment bank

8. Length of tenure in contracts; the HM is not keen on short-term job contractors

6 month contract, currently with funding through to summer 2024.
