Role Overview
  • Ensure that all trades are entered accurately into back-office system in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for static data maintenance and update.
  • Managing asset transfers
  • Processing of Corporate Action events for Client positions such as coupons, dividends, redemptions, maturity payments, stock splits and consolidations, rights issues, etc.
  • Managing Corporate Action diary to ensure timely processing of relevant events.
  • Reconciling daily Cash and Stock positions for clients and custodians.
  • Liaise with third parties to manage any discrepancies.
  • Creating escalation reports to management on all breaks with relevant auditable commentary.
  • Assistance of annual reporting requirements when required.
  • Regular review and update of procedures completed to reflect changes in internal processes and industry regulations.
  • Participation in departmental projects relating to cash products and systems.
  • Managing client cash transfers.
  • Managing internal cash transfers and bookings.

Experience we are looking for
  • Understanding of the trade life cycle.
  • Experience on Corporate Action events across all product and event types
  • Understanding of CASS cash and custody rules.
  • Ability to perform in a pressurised environment
  • Ability to work closely within a team
  • Excellent problem solving and judgement
  • Diligent approach to work and attention to detail
  • Manage manual tasks in the role and investigate to improve/automate
  • Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Process improvement/re-engineering
  • Reconciliation
  • Ability to adjust working patterns and assume additional tasks
