Hedge Fund Operations Analyst - Digital Asset Hedge Fund

We are a digital asset hedge fund looking for an experienced operations analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting or operations withing a hedge fund. In addition, we are looking for someone with coding skills who can help us automate and streamline our operations (Excel/VBA/SQL & Python)

Responsibilities:

• Stay up-to-date with market trends and developments in the cryptocurrency industry
• Directly supporting fund managers in the day to day hedge fund operations including trade bookings, settlements, daily reconciliations, pricing, NAV and P&L production.
• Ensure the daily operations workflows are implemented and executed in an accurate and timely manner
• Use coding skills to automate and streamline operations, such as automating data entry and report generation
• Ensure the operating procedures are adhered to regulatory requirements and company policies
• Ensure all operation issues are solved in timely manner and well recorded
• Communicate with external vendors and partners, such as exchanges and custodians, staying up to date on counterparty risk
• Take lead role in answering all fund administrator queries and requests in a timely manner
• Monitor all exchange trading balances and flag any trade breaks
• Work closely with all the senior trading team to gain a strong understanding of the funds trading strategies and monitor and report on the performance
• Provide support to the Fund with regards to new products and new businesses including new trading account openings
• Assist in compiling, review and update various operations policies and procedures on regular basis
• Responsible for system enhancement/establishment for existing products / flows
• Provide support and suggestions to adopt potential operation model changes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
• Experience working with market leading Crypto Custody providers
• Strong Excel/VBA/SQL/Python
• Experience in a financial operations or accounting role, preferably in a hedge fund or other asset management firm
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
