Equity Analyst/Junior Portfolio Manager - Financials Sector - London-Based Asset Manager

We are currently working on an exciting role with a London-based Asset Manager who is looking to bring on board a new Co Portfolio Manager. Our client is currently building one of the first actively managed thematic ETF investing platforms, they are combining a long-term bottom-up investing process looking for structurally growing and underpenetrated themes.

This opportunity is a great chance for someone who is passionate about the financials and especially the fintech and or Asset Manager space.
In order to be considered for this role you must be a match for the below:

• 7+ years of equity analyst experience (Sell or Buy Side)
• Must have covered the Financials, specifically Fintech and or Asset Managers
• Must be confident to lead research and stock selection for each ETF working alongside the CIO
• The opportunity is focused on research and security selection, as portfolio construction is managed systematically
• Knowledge and experience presenting (either to Investment committees, investors, LPs, or publicly)
• Entrepreneurial mind with a strong self-motivating attitude.
• You will be someone who is ready and willing to work on a range of different jobs which includes doing podcasts/webinars, researching and writing content as well as running a portfolio, you in turn can expect a flexible working approach.
