We are seeking a candidate to take a key role in our electronic market making team, with a primary focus on our NDF offering. Our business has seen rapid expansion both in terms of size and scope, and we are looking to bring in experienced individuals to spearhead the development of this latest electronic product. We require candidates with a broad range of experience across the electronic space trading and markets space.

State streets eFX business is a global team providing electronic fully automated trading facilities for clients 24 hours a day 5 days a week, typically transacting billions of dollars of foreign exchange currency daily. We employ cutting edge quantitative and algorithmic trading techniques, as well as the latest technology to engage in high frequency trading and analysis.
Our electronic trading product has been expanding to NDFs, and we require talented and experienced individuals to accelerate the eNDF program to deliver sophisticated pricing and hedging solutions. This will enable us to provide the best quality and competitiveness to our core client franchise.

What you will be responsible for
As an eNDF Quantitative Analyst, you will:
  • Using public and proprietary data, identify new opportunities to optimize pricing and risk management, and increase trading volume and generate new business.
  • Leverage market experience in spot and forward markets to influence and guide the strategic direction of the program.
  • Run the production trading book for deliverable and non-deliverable, managing client flow and providing insights.

  • Broad experience in a range of FX products including deliverable spot, NDF and forwards
  • Proven success working with large data sets and developing statistical models
  • Solid grounding in statistics, knowledge of forecasting and machine learning techniques
  • Experience managing a production trading system
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • Desire to work within a collaborative, team-driven environment

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • MSc in Mathematics/Physics/Statistics/Engineering or similar
  • Knowledge of a fast prototyping language such as Matlab, Python, R
  • Working knowledge of an object orientated programming language such as Java is a plus
