We partner with a prestigious private property company in West London owning and managing a portfolio of hundreds of commercial and residential properties in their search for a Finance Manager to join their growing team.

This is a newly created role for an experienced Qualified Accountant to join as a Finance Manager, reporting to the Finance Director, with a blend of financial accounting and commercial responsibilities.

Responsibilities will include:

• Ownership of month-end accounting, including posting journals
• Balance sheet reconciliations; review of bank reconciliations
• Monthly reporting preparation including variance analysis
• Participate in the annual budget, quarterly reforecasting and cashflow forecasting
• Initial preparation of monthly Board pack
• Preparation of the year-end statutory accounts
• Preparation of quarterly covenant testing and report to bank
• Preparing or reviewing all returns (including VAT, CIS and ATED returns)
• Liaison with the auditors and other external third advisors

Key requirements for this role:

• Accounting qualification (ACCA/ ACA/ CIMA)
• Prior relevant accounting experience preferably within the property sector
• Strong technical skills, Excel included
• MRI Qube knowledge would be advantageous
• Hands on mentality
