Who we are looking for.
Supporting the embedment of the Op Resilience Risk Policy of the Firm in consultation with the objectives and directives of the Corporation
Responsible for leading oversight and challenge to drive firm compliance with Corporate Policy requirements and regulatory requirements and are fulfilled, working with business lines and other functional areas of the Organization to achieve the Firm's Resilience risk objectives.
The role will have accountability for specific Critical Business Services (CBSs) with complete risk oversight of the resilience of the CBS delivery. The individual should develop in depth SME knowledge of the end-to-end delivery of the CBS including supporting infrastructure.
Maintain in depth knowledge of the Resilience Risk Management industry standards and best practices as well as global regulatory guidance and expectations on Operational Resilience. Participate in relevant industry forums and translate knowledge internally.

What you will be responsible for
As Operational Risk VP you will,
  • Supports development of a strategy for achieving an efficient and effective operational resilience management across various functions and regions
  • Represent SME SLOD resilience risk management in Governance.
  • Advance the Operational Resilience SME presence in the organization Provide support on Resilience matters including periodic updates in Governance forums on the execution progress of the Corporate Resilience program.
  • Participate in the execution of the Impact Tolerance and Resilience Testing programs including supporting the review and challenge of Alternative Action Plans
  • Provide SME knowledge in developing a Second Line Reporting on Vulnerabilities and support its automation leveraging PowerBi capabilities.
  • Support the design and development of a CBS Operational Resilience profile to support a second line view of the CBS resilience capabilities in collaboration with ERM India reporting function.
  • Support the ongoing evolution of SST Non-Financial Risk practices.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 15 years Operational Risk Management experience in financial services with particular experience in Asset Management or Fund Accounting
  • Wide-ranging knowledge of the financial industry, in particular Operational Risk Management or business continuity oversight management
  • In depth knowledge of global regulatory requirements for Operational Resilience
  • Fluent in English both written and oral, with polished and effective communication skills both with internal and external parties
  • BA degree or equivalent experience

Additional requirements
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of Operational Risk Management with knowledge of Business Continuity programs and practices a plus
  • Knowledge of financial industry products (CBS)
  • Knowledge of methodologies to analyze resilience capabilities and vulnerabilities of a given product.
  • Ability to translate regulatory requirements into actionable plans for the Organization.
  • Extensive quantitative/data analysis capability, to support impact analysis assessment and calibration of the impact tolerance setting.
  • Ability to interact and challenge critical business service executive management in relation to the resilience risk management of their service deliver.
  • Ability to present and challenge in executive level governance committees, including Board level.
  • Significant experience in effectively engaging with Regulators and internal/external Auditors.
  • Ability to identify industry maturity levels in the Operational Resilience space and relay relevant information internally.
