Operations Analyst - Data control
Our client an investment manager based in the City of London, is seeking an analyst/associate to join their operations team. Working closely with the data manager you will ensure all day to day and month end data information is provided accurately and timely.
Responsibilities:
• Monitor data and data feeds, ensuring accuracy and resolving any issues
• Retrieve and use data to produce management information reports
• Develop and maintain Pricing and Valuation Policies and Procedures in accordance with industry standards.
• Liaise and manage relationships both with internal and external sources (Custodians)
• Ensure daily duties are in line with all policies and procedures
• Over time the successful candidate will get exposure to all Investment Support Service functions including corporate actions, trade support, collateral management
Requirements:
• At least 3 - 5 years related experience, ideally in a Global Fund Manager operations department or with a Global Custodian
• Solid understanding of financial service products including, bonds and equity securities
• Experienced in data feed usage and an understanding of security data
• Knowledge of systems including Bloomberg, Portia
• Excel, Macros and Python skills for data management
