European Equity Sales associate , Global Bank

We are currently working with a tier one bank They are now looking for a junior associate to join their European equity sales team. The purpose of this role is to market the European equity research product of the bank to European investors.

In the role you need to understand the research produced by the bank and then explain it to the investors, who will then make investment decisions on the basis of your introductions.

The role will involve lots of meetings with investors and extensive telephone work.

You have to be very outgoing and want to sell. The role will also involve spreadsheet work, following up with documentation and replying to client enquiries.

The successful candidate could come from a variety of backgrounds to include

Equity sales

Equity research

People with with 1- 3 years on a grad scheme

Other professions such as ACAs or CFAs.

They need someone who is real self starter. The role is ideally suited to someone with 1 to 3 years experience in a bank or research role.
