Our client is one of the most exciting Fintechs to come across our books this year. Having just hired Oliver Wyman's ex Head of Banking as their CEO, the firm is currently valued at £50m and has potential to 10x in the coming 3-5 years. Their product is revolutionising the audit and accountancy space through intelligent data and analytics.

They are looking for people who would like to come on the journey with them; to help grow and build a Fintech that has already established itself as a market leader working with 3 of the Big 4 accounting firms, several major banks and financial institutions.

The product they have developed allows a 'one click' data solution to analyse the balance sheet of a company. Currently the industry is focused on auditors and accountants that analyse data; our client has developed something cheaper, faster and more accurate that has already saved one of its banking clients over £10m in cost alone. The bank is better able to assess its clients in terms of their ability to afford loans and can provide a 'one click' view of the firm's accounts and an auditing report.

We are working directly with the CEO to build a sales and relationships team. There are already big clients that need managing whilst there is a considerable map to go after in terms of new business. With 3 of the big 4 accountancy firms already on board, the firm is finding it converts around 20-30% of all targeted enquiries; why would a firm not want to use this product?

The CEO is looking for people who are interested to come on this Fintech journey. We are looking for people with the following:

1. Sales and/or relationship management career in a relevant industry; if you haven't worked directly in this space, then the character and aptitude for this role
2. Ability to work with CEOs and Heads of Divisions to talk through the intricacies of this product; this could be a Partner in an accountancy business or the Head of Product at a major investment bank
3. Ability to build and spot opportunities, especially cross-selling in large corporates
4. Agility to help build a business - this role is largely about sales and/or relationship management, however, what are the systems, processes and people that can help to build this business? The firm is currently 30 people and set to double in the next few years
5. Career-driven mindset - the potential for this product is huge. In 18 months you could lead a team for a new industry, a new country, manage the overall relationship for a FTSE 100 firm including on-site analytics teams or help to build a new product within the business
6. Someone Tech-savvy would be at an advantage
7. Experience selling more complex product structures would be an advantage
8. A passion for the financial markets and/or market technology would be an advantage clearly!
Speaking to the CEO, this role could suit someone in front office sales in a bank, a management consultant that is looking a more dynamic role or someone that is looking for a better work-life balance who is travelling considerably or working long hours. There is complete flexible working for this role. Clearly the more sales-focused roles are 'you get out what you put in' in terms of top bonus performers.

The Bonus potential in these roles is considerable; uncapped though top performers will get 75-100% of base. Top performers will be considered for equity.

We are looking for 4 people; some will be more sales focused than others. Someone with 2-3 years and potential is as welcome as someone with 7+ years of relevant experience.
