The role: ETF and Benchmarking Solutions Intern

The Team/The Business:
The Equities business line within S&P Global Market Intelligence provides market leading data services and key analytics to a broad range of industry participants from sell-side trading desks of global banks to asset managers.

Within the Equities business line, ETF and Benchmarking Solutions (EBS) products provide data management, operational, analytics and valuation services primarily to sell-side trading desks, hedge funds and ETF issuers. The products play a crucial role in the ETF and index trading ecosystem.

Location: London, United Kingdom

The Impact:
Helping our customer support and service delivery teams, dedicated to providing a best- in-class experience in product support, onboarding, relationship management and customer communications. The role will involve working closely with Product, Development and Operations, as well as support functions including Marketing.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the coordination of various integrated programs and marketing activities to promote EBS products and meet commercial targets
  • Help with the production of a wide range of client communications
  • Support the management and monitoring of incoming customer queries
  • Collect and analyze data/produce reports to support client service reviews and other key project initiatives
  • Interface with internal/external stakeholders in building up relationships to effectively achieve business objectives
What We're Looking For:
  • A relevant university degree (Bachelors or equivalent) - In International Business, Computer Science, Finance and Mathematics, or other related STEM Degrees.
  • A strong interest in the Financial Services sector
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications - Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills, learning agility and keen attention to detail
  • Strong collaboration skills in a team environment

To be eligible for our UK Summer Internship program you must have the right to work full-time now and in the future. We currently do not offer visa sponsorship; however, we do run our programs in several locations across the globe and welcome you to consider those that are relevant to you.
