The Role: Totem Product Analysis & Design Summer Intern.

The Team:
The TOTEM service, founded in 1997, provides the major market makers in OTC derivatives with definitive consensus market prices. More than 50 of the leading banks, trading houses and other investment professionals use the TOTEM service as the key independent check of their trading book valuations.
The service encompasses the equity, interest rates, currency, commodity, credit and bond markets, providing comprehensive matrices of vanilla prices and a wide selection of exotic products.
The Impact:
The Totem Product Development team consists of several Product Analysis & Design specialists located in our London office and is currently engaged on the following initiatives:

- Driving forward R&D project leading to new Totem feature in the future
- Providing data analysis by combining internal and external datasets to drive new features adoption from our customers
- Interacting closely with Business Development, Product Services and IT to deliver a better product overall
What We're Looking For:

- Undergraduate or Master's degree in a financial or quantitative discipline is essential
- Strong analytical, quantitative and problems solving skills are essential
- Data analysis skills
- Proficiency in Python desirable
- Practical understanding of the basics of mathematical finance and derivatives pricing
